A thankful e-mail

Titov Island

I was on board of a Huong Hai Junk (2D1N) with my colleague few days ago. I and other passengers were picked up before 8 Am and reached HL at about 12. During the check-in time, I enjoyed the comfort of Indochina Cafe' with a cup of Capuchino and by the way check my e-mail.

On board I enjoyed different kind of delicious and fresh food, which was considerately prepared. Yet, we have to pay for the beverage when check-out. Unlike other junks, we have lunch and dinner on the first day, breakfast and one more lunch on the second day. I feel this was a plus for Huong Hai Junks because if the staff just serves you brunch at 8-9AM, you will get starved when you reach Hanoi. The waiter was so friendly so explain anything regarding served seafood and Vietnamese cuisine.
In this season, when I was sitting on a small boat to sightsee the Luon Cave, I could take photos of cute small monkeys. They climbed down the mountain to get food from the tourists or the guides. It was really adorable to see how they jump from twig to twig and managed to get the food, even when it was floating on water.
A German friend talked to me: "I can swim, I can save you from the dragon under the water, you are a dragon (I was born in dragon year) too, you're a friend of him, so you'll save me, otherwise he will swallow us up" (what a lovely joke :))
We went into Sung Sot Cave and climbed up Titov mountain to catch a spectacular view from the top. It was just incredible.
A friend I made on board said that next year, he will bring his wife, his children and grandchildren to Ha Long Bay again.
It was such a pride of Vietnamese people.
I wish I could come back again, maybe with my future husband to spend my romantic honeymoon, along with lovely service staff of HHJ I have met and passengers I will meet.

Thank you, Huong Hai Junks!
